I am currently working alongside one of the UK's leading tier 1 main contractors, who are looking to recruit an experienced civil engineer to embark on a long term water treatment package.
Contract length is 12 months long and I am looking for an engineer who can interview ASAP, and begin the position in the coming weeks.
Site engineer requirements:
* Must have 4 years minimum experience as a stand alone engineer.
* Must have CSCS.
* SMSTS or SSSTS would be advantageous.
Site engineer Duties include:
* Carry out all setting out on site.
* Engage with the Geotechnical Engineer to ensure the methodology and compaction coincided with design aspect.
* Manage the Health & Safety requirements on site and distributed key stage planning for all the team to work to.
* Complete and supply daily assessment sheets to the project manager.
* Write and review RAMS.
* Execute regular site inspections; and reducing exposure to hazards through risk assessment to ensure the scheme is compliant to the company's operational safety standards.
* Write and review risk assessments and method statements, carry out detailed inductions and chair morning briefings to inform the workforce regarding potential hazards associated on site.
