Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of their own brand of biocidal disinfection, which over recent years has proven itself to be one of the leading, unique bacterial control solutions for water treatment in the UK. The solutions are for all water and wastewater needs are supported by a vast track record in numerous industries.

They are now recruiting for a Water Engineer that will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of all systems within the Yorkshire area and may at times be asked to help outside of your dedicated area. This will depend on you to use your initiative and experience ensure that installations run smoothly and efficiently as well as provide technical and logistical assistance to the technical account managers, engineers as well as business development team to help transform problematic and often complex opportunities into significant deals

Responsibilities Include:

* Oversee all installations from site survey to physical install in your area. Working with the ordering department to ensure all parts have arrived on time and working with the technical account managing team to ensure site surveys are carried out correctly so that parts ordered are correct.

* Set a good example to colleagues by observing and obeying all company rules and regulations, adhering to health and safety guidelines as well as complying with all site regulations, and safeguarding company property.

* Oversee technical issues by the way of providing assistance immediately and following up with customer and/or relevant person to ensure the issue is resolved.

* Provide support and co-operation to the management and to colleagues, and be prepared and willing to help and contribute to the success of the company at all times.

* Manage, maintain and develop strong relationships with the customers

* Work to achieve company abd customer water quality expectations simultaneously.

* Explain the benefits of the systems, products and services.

* Liaise with the Engineering, Product Development and Business development teams, as well as any other colleagues to communicate customer successes and issues.

* Help Support team plan your calendar and jobs by informing them of urgent jobs.

* All information should be recorded on the CRM system to promote collaboration within the team

* You are expected to engage with members of your team, transfer knowledge, assist others to succeed. Report any concerns, issues to management directly.

* Updating each visit with a written update in accordance with the CRM, if parts are needed or there is a problem with a customer this should be actioned and followed up immediately by the relevant technical account manager to the relevant team.

* Update company systems and keep them in clean, tidy and good working order.

* Take residuals and make relevant alterations on site and use the endoscope to take pictures every other visit. This should then be uploaded on the CRM.

* Take samples when required on site in accordance with the company way and send these to the relevant lab. It is the responsibility of the technical account manager to ensure the lab has received these and that the lab has produced the report to management.

* Ensure that you have sufficient stock to carry out deliveries.

* Ensure that you have sufficient stock to carry out repairs, conduct residuals and samples as and when necessary. This includes but is not limited to following up with relevant ordering processes to ensure you receive what you need ahead of schedule.

* You may be expected to be overseeing certain projects. You will be expected to oversee any relevant stock, parts. colleagues needed and to maintain communication with relevant parties within and outside of the company.

* You may be expected to attend out of hours projects, exhibitions and social events to do with the industry.

* Encourage your colleagues and bring forward any ideas/process that would benefit the company, customers and increase productivity and efficiency.

Ideally candidates will either come from the Water Treatment / Wastewater Industry and will have Chemical Dosing and ideally some Plumbing experience.
