Mechanical and Electrical Engineer

Employment Type: PAYE Hourly Rate, Agency Contract
Pay: £30-35 per hour, subject to relevant experience (Circa £55,000+)
Duration: 8 months approximately, with long term potential for permanent employment
Scope of work: Reporting to the Project Manager. Managing and coordinating the mechanical and electrical engineering elements of a tender for a Potable Water Treatment Plant, and then go into delivery of the works. There is a water supply which will be filtered, chlorinated and then analysed. There is a short-list of contractors to do the build and install works, which will be into an existing building.
It will be the responsibility of this person to liaise with the contractors and the end client, to assure all works are engineered and installed correctly, prior to and during the construction phase. The design work is already complete.
There is 6-8 months programmed for this project and there are other projects coming to delivery from the Environment Agency, so the work could extend or turn into a permanent employed position.
To succeed in this role you will have:
- Potable Water Process Experience
- Mechanical and Electrical bias in an equivalent position
- Formal technical qualifications in a Mechanical or Electrical Discipline at Higher level or equivalent
