Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Civil Engineering


King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, PA is seeking a Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor of Civil Engineering for the 2022-23 academic year, with potential for renewal.


King’s College initiated its Bachelor of Science program in Civil Engineering in fall 2017.  This program, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering program, enables students to earn engineering degrees with the benefits of a small college environment, including modest class sizes, personalized attention, high-impact teaching, and a strong liberal arts experience.


Requirements include a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, or a related field.  Preference will be given to candidates with college-level teaching experience and expertise in geotechnical, transportation, and civil materials. 


Particularly welcome are candidates interested in providing students with meaningful research opportunities and who are supportive of the Holy Cross Mission and Catholic identity of the College.
