Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is renowned in the London area for working on high end housing projects, both new and refurbishment. They have plans to expand their structures team to take on a more varied project workload.

In order to take the next step with these plans they are looking to bring in a Senior Structural Engineer who has at least 5 years' experience since graduating.

The role offers the successful structural engineer the opportunity to work on commercial and residential schemes; basement design, which could include anything from a swimming pool to a wine cellar; high end refurbishment projects for private clients. If you have temporary works experience or are keen to be involved in this type of design, this would be a great advantage.

Located close to a variety of tubes, their West London office is medium sized with a good office environment which offers a social life as well as a focus on hard work.

Your role will include:

Responsibility for either whole or part projects,
Attending regular site and client meetings,
Range of buildings structures design in all materials and projects could include buildings of historic interest. Requirements:

A degree in either structural or civil engineering,
A Chartered or near Chartered Engineer,
Ideally proficient in the use of Tekla
A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience. The company will offer the successful Senior structural engineer an excellent career progression and access to the Director, who plays a very hands-on role.
