An excellent long-term opportunity within IR 35 exists for an experienced Mechanical Construction Engineer to manage and coordinate all elements of mechanical plant and equipment installation.
Duties Include -
To manage and successfully deliver the site wide construction installation of the Mechanical Plant and Equipment (P&E), testing and pre-commissioning activities
Processing isometrics and drawings in accordance with project requirements
Manage customer and stakeholder relationships
Liaise with discipline design leads, procurement and other discipline managers to ensure design documents, material & equipment are handed to construction in a timely manner to meet the programme dates
Support the discipline field engineer's construction effort
Approve the discipline sections in the Construction ITP's, RAMS and Lifting Plans
Requirements for this post include -
IOSH Managing Safety
Managerial or technical qualification - HNC or above
7 years' experience of fulfilling a mechanical engineering role on construction projects
Previous experience of project delivery on a Nuclear licensed site
Experience on Sellafield site preferable
Experience managing subcontractors
Multi discipline awareness
Ability to obtain BPSS is essential
