Here within Anglian Water, we collaborate with a number of alliance partners to provide the best water and water recycling services across the region by maintaining our existing assets and undertaking new projects to safeguard future water supplies.
Playing a key part in our drive to bring environmental and social prosperity to the region we serve through our commitment to Love Every Drop is our Integrated Operational Solutions (IOS) Alliance. Comprising of Anglian Water, Morrison Water Services, Barhale and Kier, the IOS Alliance work together to concentrate on solutions across the water recycling and clean water asset base, typically totalling £50-60m per year.
To provide and modify Design for Construction teams, Contractors, and the Client, we are looking for a talented and driven Designer to join us to be able to understand issues in any part of the water sector asset base and deliver industry-leading solutions!

The Role
Researching and developing insight to drive solutions, you'll take account of any pre-construction information, eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks to anyone affected by the project and take steps to reduce or control any risks that cannot be eliminated.
Always applying sound engineering judgement, you'll be accustomed to traditional ways of working whilst driving and implementing innovative and new ways of working.

Key skills, experience and behaviours….
To join us on our quest for industry-leading engineering solutions, you'll hold a degree in a relevant technical field and be a member of a relevant professional body. Professional experience as a Designer in the construction industry would be advantageous.
Confident in researching issues and creatively solving problems, you'll be able to produce clear design documents underpinned by sound applied mathematics
