We are currently working with a national civil engineering contractor working across highways, rail, water & nuclear. They have secured several sizeable schemes across Herefordshire as part of a major water infrastructure framework.
As such, they have requirements for Site & Section Engineers to support the site teams from an engineering perspective. The projects are a mixture of WWTW, STW, pumping stations and pipelines.
The company are able to offer the successful candidate continuity of regional work within the Herefordshire region within one of the United Kingdoms most respected Tier 1 contractors.
Additionally, they can offer excellent career progression and remuneration.
Key responsibilities:
·Setting Out - Use of GPS, total station & automatic levels
·Coordinating site drawings
·Daily liaison with the project team, design team, and subcontractors
·Monitoring and recording of materials, plant, and logistics
·Implementing QA procedures, concrete pre/post pour checks, RFI's and resolves technical issues
·Record keeping and reporting
·Assist in maintaining and monitoring safe working practices on site.
Specific Requirements
·Previous projects experience on Civil Engineering projects (water, highways, drainage)
·Proficient in the use of GPS, robotic total station, and levelling equipment is essential
·Excellent IT skills - knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navis works, Microsoft
