Our client is an established multidisciplinary engineering firm with numerous offices throughout England and an enviable portfolio of projects spanning various sectors. They have a vacancy for a Geo Environmental Engineer to join their office in Leamington Spa and lead the team on a full-time permanent basis.
The successful engineer will support the growing Geo-Environmental team in both Geotechnical and Environmental assessment of sites and undertaking ground assessment risks where they will, in time specialise in their chosen discipline.
Responsibilities:
Planning and undertaking ground investigations and follow on monitoring,
Liaise with clients and approving bodies with respect to assigned schemes,
Undertaking site supervision of remedial works,
Production of Geo-Environmental Reports such as; Phase I Desk Studies, Phase II Reports, Ground Investigation Reports, Geotechnical Design Reports, Remediation Method Statements and Material Management Plans,
Undertaking Geo-Environmental Assessments of sites moving towards specialising in wider contamination or geotechnical aspects,
Preparation of site investigation logs utilising AGS Data,
Learn specialist drafting and design software such as SlopeW and DQRA software.Requirements:
A relevant degree,
You will be a member of an appropriate Institution,
An MSc in an associated discipline would be desirable,
A minimum of 3 years' experience in the Geo=Environmental field would be desirable,
Excellent communication skills both written & verbal,
An enthusiastic and personable attitude.The successful Geo Environmental Engineer will receive a competitive salary & benefits package.
