An opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer to join an independent and well-established consultancy in Nottingham.

This is an opportunity to work on some exciting projects such as: The international air and space training institute. The university of Nottingham buildings, high rise apartment blocks, Nottingham City Hospital and design of various schools a cross England.
The successful candidate will be a problem solver who is eager to learn from their colleagues, someone who communicates well with people at all levels and champions teamwork and innovation.
Key roles and responsibilities:
  • Production of schematic / concept designs and detailing design calculations within defined project timescales.
  • Liaising with other construction professionals in the development of designs.
  • Directing technicians in the production of AutoCAD drawing information and undertaking quality reviews of drawn information prior to issue.
  • Liaising with other disciplines i.e. structures and Geo - Enviro to ensure design is fully co - ordinated.
  • Developing relationships with clients and other professionals with the aim of identifying new opportunities.
  • Production of flood risk assessments and drainage strategy reports for planning
  • Undertaking drainage and SuDS designs using MicroDrainage or Causeway Flow.


Essential requirements
  • Accredited degree in Civil Engineering
  • Be working towards Chartered Status.
  • Technically competent and understand the fundamental stability requirements of structures and construction details.
  • Hold a valid driving licence.
