Senior Rail Civil Engineer

We are currently dealing with a major Engineering consultancy who are looking to expand their London team by recruiting a Senior Rail Civil Engineer. As the Senior Rail Civil Engineer, you work a range of Network Rail projects in which youll get the opportunity to work under mentorship to develop and undertake CRE responsibilities. Within the role you will help resolve technical design issues helping to develop the production of drawings, reports and specifications. You will be responsible for undertaking and managing commissions including engineering feasibility and outline design of rail projects (GRIP 1-4) to support business cases, coordinating input from engineering and environmental disciplines. As the Rail Civil Design Engineer you could be exposed to working on, but limited too:

• Gantry and foundation designs
• Rock cutting stabilisations works
• UTX/URX design
• Station works
• Lineside Structures/Ancillary Civils
• Bridge design, refurbishment and strengthening schemes

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience working in a Rail Civil/Structural Design Environment
• Working towards Chartership or early Chartered
• Eurocodes
• Design software experience for example Midas, Tedds, Staad Pro etc
