Civil Engineering Project Manager

RecruitME is currently recruiting for Civils Project Managers to operate within our clients' Network Delivery Teams.
My client is investing over £1bn in their network and next-generation technology.
They are looking for Project Managers / Civil Engineers who may have looked after mobile sites (ie, know how to deal with planning and get power to where it needs to be etc.)
Project Managers from a civils background would be beneficial, but not essential.
You'll sit amongst experienced Fibre and Civil Engineering Specialists to programme manage FTTH builds across the East Midlands.
As a Project Manager, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks to support the delivery of the network and the point of contact for ensuring appropriate actions are taken with and by contractors whilst carrying out field-based activities.
My client is using next-generation technology to power its multi-gigabit fibre network, supported
by global suppliers including Nokia, Linksys, Fujikura and Salesforce.

What you'll be doing
* Drive the delivery of the build programme, working with stakeholders to deliver on-time, safely and to standard
* Engagement with the Highways Authority, ensuring that statutory legislation is adhered to
* Take commercial ownership for the builds and maintain budgets
What we're looking for
* Project management experience with a track record of leading builds
* People who have potentially looked after mobile sites and know how to deal with planning and get power to where it needs to be etc
* Project Managers from a civils background would be beneficial, but not essential
* Knowledge of PIA, NRSWA and HAUC
