Our client is a civil engineering contractor working on light civils, groundworks and public realm projects in Central London.
They are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team for upcoming projects across the London area.
Responsibilities:
Improving the contract process, deal with any issues that arise throughout a contract and agree to any additional work.
Meeting with clients, finding out their requirements
Developing and presenting proposals for the project
Agreeing budgets and timescales with the clients Acting as the main point of contact for clients, site and project managers
Work within the office and attend site and client visits
Maintaining contractual records
Communicate contract-related information to all stakeholders
Oversee 3 to 4 projects concurrently in the London area
Manage the Project Managers on each project
Report to Operations Director and Senior Management on site progress
Work with the pre-construction team to ensure strong tenders submitted to existing and new clients based on past experience and current project experience.
Experience/Qualifications:
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar
Strong experience as a contracts manager on civil engineering projects in the UK
Strong client facing skills
Ability to build and manage teams efficiently
Strong pre-construction and commercial awareness
