Quality Engineer - Civil Engineering

My client is a well renowned civil engineering contractor with decades ofexperience delivering major projects across the United Kingdom. They are currently working on a large infrastructure scheme in South Wales and have a requirement for Quality Engineer to join the site team, managing all aspects of quality assurance associated with the project.

The focus of the role is to implement and manage quality systems for the works carried out.This role could suit a Site Engineer, with a track record of managing QA/QC.

Alternatively, somebody from a document control/site administration background with relevant experience of managing quality systems and looking to move into this full time.

Duties will consist of managing:

• Inspection Test Plans
• Managing Snagging Systems ensuring all works are completed to required industry standards
• Signing off completed works
• Liaising with client
• Liaising with direct workforce and sub-contractor to ensure quality
