How you will make contributions that matter...
  • Attending to breakdowns and stoppages, monitoring, testing and maintenance of the WPF, water recovery system, site water supplies and other relevant site services functions.
  • Being proactive into assisting shift maintenance engineers to achieve the site PPM.
  • Demonstrating ability to motivate other engineers, technicians, support staff and production operators/controllers and lead by good example during daily tasks. Display an in depth knowledge of the plant.
  • Adhering to legislation, HS&E and site standards and Engineering good practice.
  • Striving to seek areas of plant/product improvements. Continue training to achieve highest level of site and plant skills, progress core skills as required. Take on a higher level of plant 'ownership' within the process.

You are best suited for the role if you are
  • Trained to engineer standards, City & Guilds, HNC, ONC, indentured apprenticeship.
  • Able to demonstrate practical engineering skills and enjoy hands on approach.
  • Working proactively and willing to take the initiative.
  • Able to work under pressure, multi-tasking and self-accountable
