They now require a Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer ( with Fast track development to Associate Director level) with experience in remediation to work on a variety of interesting projects connected to residential re-development, commercial developments and land owners. You will be working in a modern yet rural location with free parking and easy access to the countryside. It is idyllic!
(The organisation is also open to Geo-technical Engineers with some mentoring or people management experience. The Remediation aspect can be developed)
With a supportive and experienced Director as your manager, there is the opportunity to be fast tracked to Associate Director level and be really involved with the commercial side of this business.

In this role as Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer you will be:
- Maintaining an effective and high performing remediation team (5 engineers) and undertaking mentoring and support.
- Undertaking quotes for potential clients, answering queries and trouble shooting
- Developing remediation strategies, supervising and project managing live remediation projects. Attending progress meetings.
- Validating construction phase remediation works.
- Providing construction support to developers & contractors - visiting client sites and reviewing operations, resolving problems, suggesting modifications etc.
- Liaising with regulators
- Writing and reviewing reports e.g. Remediation Strategies, Gas Protection Strategies, Verification Reports & Materials Management Plans
- Minimising business risk; e.g. H&S and PI insurance
To be successful in this role of Principal Geoenvironmental Engineer you will need to have :
- Experience in Site Investigation and particularly Remediation works (though this aspect can be developed)
- Degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Civil engineering or similar
- Achieved Chartered status or equivalent
- Excellent report writing and reviewing skills
- Good attention to detail
- Some team management or mentoring experience
- Project management experience
- Commercial awareness
- Full UK driving licence
