Project Engineer - Battery Energy Storage Systems - London/Hybrid
My client are a leading developer of turnkey BESS and EV solutions in the UK and Europe. You will join the team as a Project Engineer, working closely with the PM's to deliver utility scale BESS projects. This will involve work across the whole lifecycle of a project; liaising with the origination team, delivering the project via EPC contractors and optimisation of the asset. As the PE you will be working with some of the best in the business to drive forward the UK's transition to net zero. This is a role for someone passionate about the industry with a willingness to learn.
Your roles and responsibilities:
- Work closely with Senior Project Managers to ensure the timely delivery of utility scale BESS projects
- First POC with specific EPC contractors
- Involvement with key project design decisions - technical specs, layouts, SLD
- Stay up-to-date with research and tech development
We need someone with:
- Engineering degree is essential - Electrical engineer is a bonus
- 3-5 years' experience in energy - Direct Renewable experience is a bonus
- Understanding of Battery Energy Storage or Solar projects
- Experience working in a team environment on project by project basis.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
