Relocating to Australia with WSP

This is a unique offering for anyone who craves the opportunity to work for a global organisation in an amazing country. Our Property and Buildings division is looking for experienced Civil Engineers to join our teams across Australia with offices in Perth, Darwin, Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, and Adelaide. We are seeking mid, senior and associate level Civil Engineers.

For the successful applicants, visa and relocation support will be offered.

What you will do:

As a Civil Engineer, you will be part of a wider network of professional engineers working on both local and national projects. Specific activities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide civil design expertise on single and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Deliver best practice and outcomes for clients, saving on costs and time
  • Take the lead on small to medium-size engineering design projects and support larger projects
  • Communicate effectively with all external (clients, authorities) and internal (colleagues, managers)
  • Be a supporting figure and mentor for lesser experienced engineers
  • Have the ability to build solid client relationships and recognise business development opportunities (desirable)
  • Represent and promote the business with the local and regional markets


How to qualify

Our people are our most valuable resource, and their knowledge and expertise play an important role in achieving our vision. To be considered for this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Hold a Degree of Engineering. Chartership or working towards chartership is highly desirable
  • Minimum 4 years experience working within commercial/infrastructure sectors
  • Proven ability working on medium and large complex projects. Particular areas of interest are: healthcare, education, commercial, transport infrastructure, pharmaceuticals, data centres, and world class sporting arenas
  • A track record of effectively handling competing priorities, prioritising work and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong liaison and coordination with external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, inclusive of construction phase services
  • Ability to lead, train and mentor junior engineers and communicate effectively at all levels
