Job Summary
Working within the Extreme Loads and Structural Risk Department, a graduate position undertaking engineering design and analysis assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in the field of civil/structural engineering. Through broader and more technically challenging work assignments, will develop a thorough understanding of policies, methods and procedures. All work will be directed, supervised and reviewed by a Senior or Principal Level position.
Job Duties/Roles
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required (KSAR)
Minimum Years of Experience
Entry level position for new graduates. Gap year, sandwich degree or relevant industrial work experience during study or after graduation is also preferred
Required/Preferred Education Requirements
Must have a BEng in Civil and/or Structural Engineering; MEng is preferred due to the requirements of the ICE
Required/Preferred Professional Requirements
Basic understanding of design/analysis software preferable: STAAD, AutoCAD, Finite Element Analysis
Country Requirements
British Passport Holder; successful candidate will be required to undertake Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) assessment.

Reporting Relationships
Reports directly to a Senior or Principal Level, as appropriate.
Working Conditions
Work will normally be performed in an office environment but may require working from home. Occasionally may be required to visit to operational plants in UK or around the world. Work will be of a non-manual nature, however, the incumbent must be able to walk and climb among equipment and structures.
