Civil Engineering Supervisor

Here at Rapid Response Telecoms Ltd we're looking for a Civil Engineering Supervisor to work from our Barnsley Depot upon our work streams direct for CityFibre across the North of England.

As our Civil Engineering Supervisor your duties will include:

• Ensuring that works are conducted safely in accordance with company RAMS and statutory codes of practice.
• Affirming that workmanship is in accordance with client specifications and statutory codes of practice.
• Supporting site teams but also willing to challenge and positively influence behaviours as necessary.
• Developing individual skillsets and approach to tasks by imparting experience and knowledge.
• Embracing accountability for works and adopting a solutions based approach to challenges.
• Forward looking to upcoming works and making logistical and resource plans accordingly.
• Promoting a teamwork ethos and leading by example.
• Being commercially diligent in decision making.
• Liaising with project co-ordination teams in regards to Permit start/stop times, Daily progress and Reinstatement dimensions.
• Meeting with stakeholders such as Client. Local authority and Traffic Management representatives.

Candidates for this job should as a minimum requirement:

• A Valid Driving License.
• SWQR Supervisor.
• Highways Utilities Experience.

This is a PAYE position with holidays and pension.

Salary banding is £34-40K a year plus discretionary bonus scheme of up to 30% salary, which is paid quarterly per rata based upon attitude and effort.
