You will join our Offshore Wind department and would be based in either London, Hamburg or one of our other Offshore Wind offices
As our new Senior Engineer / Naval Architect Floating Wind - Offshore Wind Engineer you will be part of our Floating Wind Teams based in Hamburg and London that are focusing on providing independent consultancy in floating wind to a broad range of clients such as utilities, developers and floater designers. Our team provides independent detailed technical engineering and design services, T&I and logistics studies, as well as broader advisory and project development services related to upcoming commercial floating wind projects. We are also actively involved in JIP and R&D projects. You will be given a high degree of independence and empowerment to bring in your own ideas and be part of a highly engaged innovative team with a high diversity of competences.

Your Key Tasks And Responsibilities Will Be
- General naval architecture engineering tasks related to hydrodynamic, hydrostatic and structural analyses, and design of floating structures and their mooring systems
- Advisory services to consult clients on broad range of technical aspects for floating wind projects
- Design calculations using FOWT engineering tools such as Orcaflex and others and application of other general engineering and in-house Ramboll tools
- Managing tasks and interfaces
- Communicating with clients

- MSc in naval architecture, offshore wind or other relevant engineering degree
- Professional experience working in the offshore wind, O&G, shipbuilding or other relevant industry for at least 3 years or highly motivated and skilled graduate engineer or Ph.D. candidate
- Preferable experience in floating offshore wind projects, respectively relevant M.Sc./Ph.D. thesis
- Motivated to learn new skills and expanding your current knowledge to work on a broad range of topics related to floating wind consultancy
- Capable to provide comprehensive advisory in technical and commercial areas
- Good communication skills in English
