We are delighted to be working with an successful civil and structural engineering consultancy which is experiencing rapid growth with exciting opportunities and are looking for a flexible, practical engineer who can grow with the company to achieve the goals of the business in parallel with their personal ambitions. The company is progressing an ICE Training Scheme to aid in the development of all graduate engineers.
The business has offices across the country and has a growing team of spread across various UK locations. This office covers Rail, Buildings, temporary works, development infrastructure and Geotechnical.
The position requires a Graduate BEng or MEng Engineer who has solid experience, ideally working with building structures of the rail sector. a candidate who is keen to diversify and encompass the scope of company project remits which cover public and commercial structures as well as both temporary works and rail. The candidate should be conversant with engineering software and have some knowledge of AutoCAD. As an Engineer you will be expected to take ownership of some projects within your remit, interacting with the other Engineers and Technicians within your team. The Engineer will be supported and supervised by the Principal Engineers within the office and work in close conjunction with the other offices. The ideal candidate should be proactive, dynamic and intuitive, happy to work on their own initiative as well as being a team player and interacting comfortably with the other staff members.

Salary
Remuneration will be commensurate with background and experience in line with the current industry rates. The package includes pension scheme, Health Insurance, 25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays and cycle to work scheme.
Salary: Negotiable dependent on current experience
Holidays: 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays. Option to purchase up to 5 additional days' holiday per year + your Birthday
Other Benefits: Company bonus scheme, pension, healthcare, cycle to work
Hours of Work: Flexible working hours. Core business hours are Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 4.30pm.

- Design of civil and structural schemes
- Review and checks of other schemes prepared by others
- Carrying out inspections and surveys of structures and preparing reports
- Undertaking feasibility / option studies
- Preparation of project programmes
- Relevant Civil/Structural Engineering degree
- Full UK driving licence and own transport would be useful but not imperative
- Eligible to live and work in the UK and high standard of written English
