Senior Structural Engineer

Senior Structural Engineer - Required for my client in their Hertfordshire office. The Senior Structural Engineer is required to work for a consultancy, which operate within the Civil and Structural engineering sector as well as the geotechnical and Infrastructure sectors. The Senior Structural Engineer will working on designs of structures, including large framed commercial, education and residential projects.

The Ideal Senior Structural Engineer will be degree qualified in a course that is recognised be IStructE as well as having at least 4 years PGE and progressing towards Chartered Status of the IStructE. The Structural engineer will have extensive construction industry experience as well as knowledge of the residential, commercial and education sectors.

It is essential that the Structural Engineer has an in-depth understanding of superstructure, foundation and geotechnical design, using Tekla and an understanding of BIM. The candidate will either be a chartered member of IStructE or working towards it. Senior Structural Engineer Position Overview

Prepare and review structural analysis & design calculations
Preparation of drawings for conceptual and detailed design

Co-ordinate projects & packages of work with minimal assistance

Senior Structural Engineer Position Requirements

BEng degree recognised be IStructE
Member of IStructE or working towards
4+ years' experience within a UK consultancy
Experience in BIM and Tekla
Commercial awareness
UK Driving Licence
