Graduate Structural Engineer

We are looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Structural team in Newark.

What you'll be doing:

You will be working as a member of our structural engineering team on a wide variety of interesting building projects nationwide.

• Working in a variety of sectors, e.g. education, commercial, industrial, residential, leisure, energy and retail on projects typically up to £10m in value
• Working alongside other structural engineers and technicians and helping to deliver the structural engineering design package on our projects.
• Initial role of assistant engineer will lead quickly to taking responsibility and lead role on structural design as soon as experience and ability permits
• Full UK driving licence

What we're looking for:

• Degree in civil or structural engineering. The Batchelor's Degree must have been undertaken at a UK University.
• Self-motivated and take ownership of work, able to work under pressure and manage workload to meet deadlines,
• Good understanding from University education and any previous work experience of structural analysis and design of building elements using common construction materials
• Some experience of using modern 3D analysis & design software beneficial
• AutoCAD literate (Revit experience beneficial but not essential)
• A good team player with strong communication skills
