JOB TITLE: CIVIL ENGINEERDEPARTMENT: CIVILS/HIGHWAYSLOCATION: CHESHIRESALARY: £28,000 - £32,000 PER ANNUMYour new companyAMB Recruitment Group are working with a vibrant Tier 2 contractor, which is currently conducting projects across structural repair, civil, highways and local authority client base. They are currently engaged in a 7-year framework with National Highways, which means that they can offer a continuity of work for anyone living in the North-West region. The works are varied and essential to the UK's transport infrastructure. They are looking for a successful Civil Engineer to join their ever-growing team and play a part in this astounding project.Your new roleYour new role will see you working as a Civil Engineer across multiple Highways Schemes on this 7-year framework and being directly involved in the direct management of site labour, designing and monitoring temporary works, and having a managerial responsibility over QA/QC.Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will have clear and attainable promotional criteria in place, and a demonstrable progression pathway.What you'll need to succeedIdeally qualified to Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering, you will have a minimum of 18 months working on engineering schemes, ideally in a Highways setting, although any discipline will be considered.Energy, enthusiasm and a desire to improve and succeed will be an essential quality of the successful candidate.A working knowledge of Auto CAD and Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
