Graduate Project Engineer (Offshore Energy & Wind)

Our Client is one of the largest turnkey Engineering & Construction contractors in the Oil and Gas sector with a proven track-record over many years, and increasingly growing towards the Renewable Energy Sector as well. With a strong bias towards remote areas and challenging deep-water locations, it is a leader in the supply of engineering, procurement, project management and construction services.
The core business is the installation of Offshore Oil and Gas platforms, Pipelines and Subsea Infrastructure, as well as installation in the offshore renewables sector, and decommissioning of offshore facilities.
They are currently recruiting for looking for high calibre graduates, ideally with some work experience, coupled with a degree qualification in engineering (e.g. mechanical, civil/structural, naval architecture, material engineering or similar).
You will receive great training and development to progress to a Senior Engineer in the future and become chartered in your field.
Responsibilities:
* Provide installation support and engineering design services in the office for projects being executed
* Provide on-site Installation engineering support and be our representative for installation preparations on site for the relevant projects.
* Support the offshore execution phase of installation projects.
* Assist in the development of procedures, bids and studies for installation work within the company
Candidate requirements:
* An interest in a mix of office, site and offshore work locations.
* An understanding of engineering projects.
* Good communication skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* A willingness to travel.
* An understanding of Offshore Oil and Gas projects is an advantage.
* Civil First Class or Upper Second Class BEng or MEng/MSc, preferably accredited by a relevant engineering institution (ICE, IMarEST, IMechE)

You will be working from our clients state of the art offices, you will receive starting salary in the region of £30k, excellent benefits and flexible/hybrid working.
