Our client is a leading renewable energies organisation, who produce electricity from wind, solar, biomass and storage, whilst also being a service provider to third party clients.

They are now on the lookout for a professional Electrical Engineer to join their team. You will manage technical engineering in all development and pre-construction phases for wind and solar projects in UK. You will act as technical referent for UK.

You will work in the respect of the cost, delay, quality, and safety in all the steps of projects: Project feasibility study - Design and optimisation of structures - Monitoring and preparation of the pre-construction phase.


You will assist the development team in the coordination of technical teams (external and internal):

Preliminary layout and technical drawings for support energy projects through the UK consenting process.
Utilise industry standard/performance modelling software to prepare project energy yield assessments.
Provide design support on the UKs projects electrical applications.
Prepare and plan project(s): construction and exploitation costing, risks evaluation, HSE & Quality.
Follow-up of the pre-construction phases (APS, APD, pre-contracts for construction, furniture & exploitation material, grid contract).
Organise the projects review with the technical team before all milestones of pre-closing steps in the projects.
Organise all doc transfer (contracts, technical administrative) to the EPC or O&M team during the project closing.
Technical evaluation and design of wind and solar projects.


Electrical Engineer degree.
Min 2 years of experience in the renewable sector.
Auto Cad mandatory.
PVsyst mandatory (PVcase would be a plus).
Fluent in English - Portuguese and/or French would be a plus.
Confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & MS Project.
Open minded and comfortable to work in a multicultural environment with international colleagues and external customers.
Ability to work in a Matrix organization.
Capacity to work/think under pressure and prioritise.
Ability to analyse and process information from several projects at any one time.
Flexible and dynamic.
Pro-active and motivated.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
Good time management skill.
