Introduction
Astute are working with a leading global energy company who are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join their team. The client provides energy efficiency, renewable energy, infrastructure and analytics as well as O&M. They are looking for a Senior Energy Engineer to be based in their London and Guildford offices and to attend client sites.

Roles & Responsibilities
As the Senior Energy Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Working on assignments covering all aspects of industrial and commercial energy usage, energy savings, utility plant redevelopment and CO2 emission reduction
Formulating, evaluating and preparing technical analysis
Preparing feasibility studies, scheme designs and project implementation plans
Assisting in the trial and development of new products and technology
Conceptual design of energy related projects
On-site assessments to support feasibility studies
The development of heat and mass balance for the selected scheme
Preparation of full equipment list, including performance/sizing/selection of key equipment
Preparation of P&ID, layout and scheme drawings
Technical support throughout the procurement and construction process
Attending HAZOP and technical review meetings as required
Other duties as requiredSkills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:

Previous experience in energy efficiency and energy usage in commercial/industrial environments
Experience evaluating the likes of CHP, refrigeration, air source/ground source heat pumps, HVAC, boilers, compressed air and control schemes
Ideally 3 years design experience of energy systemsSalary & Package
