South Coast (Dorset) based up to £40,000 per annum plus a benefits package within a rapidly expanding company.

Do you?

* Have experience and are a proficient user of AUTOCAD gained within a building / architectural environment.
* Have surveying knowledge & experience of designing steel-framed or modular buildings
* Have knowledge of light steel construction - highly desirable
* Have excellent communications skills, written and oral along with strong IT skills, especially in Excel
* Have Revit experience - 3 years
* Have strong organisational skills
* Have the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Have a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and succeed
* Have a valid CSCS card

Are you?

* Degree level qualified or HNC/HND will be considered with the right experience / Track Record or equivalent tertiary qualification
* Experienced and proficient user of 3D software packages. Products such as Google Sketchup, Photoshop, Inventor, Advance, 3D Max, Solid Works etc. Graphic design experience is a distinct advantage
* A good negotiator with strong influencing skills
* Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
* Methodical and diligent in your approach to problem-solving
* A team player with strong interpersonal skills

The Role

The primary purpose of this role is to turn the main structural elements of the Lead designer building into a format that is practical to produce by the supply chain.

This with particular regard to cold rolled steel solutions where expertise in suppliers manufacturing capabilities is required. An accurate Bill of Materials is also essential for Purchasing. The role also requires guiding and managing Product Designers Draughtsman.
