The Role:
The Geotechnical and Geo-environmental team has a wide range of experience. They carryout site investigations, coal mining risk assessments, earthworks, land remediation as well as complex geotechnical design. The team prides itself on being friendly, supportive and promoting a hands-on learning environment to benefit professional and technical development.

Academic Requirements: Candidates should have or expect to obtain a Bachelor or Masters Degree in Geology, Earth Science, Geography and have three good A-Levels or equivalent. Job Responsibilities:

Visiting sites to carry out walkovers, trial pitting, soakaway testing, supervising borehole investigations, verification of capping, gas monitoring etc.
Preparing Phase 1 and 2 geotechnical and geo-environmental site investigation reports.
Liaising with clients, regulators, site staff and other staff within the company.
A full driving licence is essential. The candidate must have a car for work purposes to which appropriate mileage will be paid to accommodate maintenance costs
