Project Manager

* Highly technically challenging Civil Engineering/structures projects

* Demolition, deep basements, piling, complex temporary works, sub and superstructures

* All central London schemes

This specialist £100m contractor based in London is without question the market leader in the types of projects they undertake across the heart of the capital. Their real expertise lies in the highly technical challenge of multi level basement construction - whether it's a huge basement footprint, six stories down right next to tube lines or multi level excavations under live operating businesses.

This contractor takes on these projects with confidence knowing they have the unique engineering capability in-house. Most of their projects feature several elements from demolition through substructure and including concrete based superstructure works.

This reputation and expertise has meant their order book and pipeline are incredibly strong, with some fantastic, landmark projects secured. Consequently they need to add to their Project Management team during the next month or two to ensure they continue to deliver.

What kind of individuals are required??

Ideally candidates who have completed a civil engineering degree (or Master's) and have come up through the site engineering route in their early career. You'd have spent your post grad years working on civil engineering/structures projects in London and worked your way through to Project Engineer and then onto Project Manager.

You have a real passion for complex and innovative technically challenging projects; projects that will test your skills and experience. You'll be open to learning and developing new solutions around temporary works, facade retention, etc whilst ensuring you're managing your project on programme and budget. Excellent communication and social skills are needed to work closely with the end client. You'll also see the benefit of taking on a project in the early stages in preconstruction and then onto site.

Ultimately, this opportunity represents a chance to work on some of London's most iconic construction projects, and develop your career with a contractor who are right at the top of their game.
