The role will principally include:
- Checking designer information
- Coordination of engineering sub-contractor details
- Management of advisory consultants and adoption engineers
- Assisting with the discharge of Planning, Building Control, and Warranty conditions
- Providing engineering support to our site, sales, customer care, and commercial teams.
- Liaising with local authorities on road adoptions and planning permissions
- Designing the structure of drainage systems for new housing developments.
The successful candidate will be :
- Experienced in the coordination of residential projects eg highways, drainage, utilities, site adoptions, and other engineering/technical related matters
- Civil Engineering-related qualification i.e. Degree, HND or HNC.
- Sound knowledge of Local Highway Authority Standards, NHBC Standards, Planning Policy Guidelines, and Sewers for Adoption.
- Sound knowledge of processing S104, S185, S38 / 278 Agreements
- Sound knowledge of geotechnical/environmental and structural disciplines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, management/leadership skills,
- Experience in liaising with authorities and utility providers before, during and post-construction.
- The ability to act independently including programming and planning is essential.
