The Department of Public Works is recruiting for a Stormwater Program Manager to administer and manage a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program for the County Flood Control District. Responsibilities include supervising and directing the activities of technical staff, and preparing agreements and coordinating between involved agencies.

Education: Possession of a bachelor’s degree in hydrology, civil engineering, chemistry, biology, physics, environmental science or a related field. Completion of EPA water related courses are desirable.
Experience: Three years assessing NPDES permit applications, writing and monitoring NPDES permits and interpreting the laws, rules and regulations affecting NPDES permitting, which includes one year in program management or coordination.
