Etex are seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join the Sigmat team, based in Evesham!
Salary - £23,000 - £25,000 Depending on Experience

What youll do
Working within our Design team, the role holder will assist on structural design elements on projects as required
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Undertake concept designs and planning projects at concept stage on a wide variety of buildings
Responsible for the production of Structural Engineering calculations for light gauge steel frames, associated hot rolled members and composite floor slabs.
Delivering excellent project work within agreed deadlines and budget
Interact with clients and other project members
Keep management informed of important and relevant design decisions to make sure that the objectives of the company and the client are achieved
Represent Sigmat and attend meetings clients and suppliers, with senior members of the team
Undertake site visits as and when required
Any other tasks commensurate with this post
What youll bring
Bachelors degree BEng / BSc or Masters degree MEng / MSc that meets the engineering academic requirements for Chartership
A Level Maths Qualification
Comfortable undertaking hand calculations and using spreadsheets as standard but able to demonstrate ability to use 3D modelling software.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and alongside senior engineers and the external design team to provide engineering solutions
Able to demonstrate a working knowledge of current codes of practice
