Construction Engineer

Job description -

Our client a EPC company is looking for a Construction Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in their office in Basingstoke. The role is offered with a day rate through PAYE on a hourly rate inside IR35 & are looking for someone to start ASAP. They operate a smart working policy allowing hybrid working for 3 days a week.

Job overview -

As a Construction Engineer you will be responsible for home office construction input for a Carbon capture project. It is a crucial project, which is currently in both study and feed phase.

Responsibilities -

• Producing constructability reviews and analysis for projects
• To permit application processes and approvals
• Providing construction input to the front end engineering phases of design
• Estimation of construction man hours based on engineering deliverables and project schedules
• On site construction management activities

Qualifications & experience -

• Degree in Engineering or science discipline preferred
• Experience of constructability reviews and analysis for UK projects
• Experience of permit application and processes & approvals
• Experience of providing construction input to the front end engineering phases and design for chemical engineering development projects
• Experience of the estimation of construction man hours based on engineering deliverables and project schedules
• Experience of on site construction management activities
