A well-respected Geotechnical & Geo-Environmental Consultancy situated in Manchester require a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer that can manage/develop junior engineers, technical assure reports and project manage. This will be an office based position In Manchester. Salary: £40K-£45K + BonusLocation: Manchester/Salford
As Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will have the responsibility surrounding team management as well as to run multiple projects from inception through to completion including all procurement, costing, program and technical reporting but with the support from the Directors.
The technical responsibilities as a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer surround reviewing both Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical reporting: including phase 1, design/manage ground investigations, phase 2 interpretive reporting (combined), risk assessments, remedial methods, validations as well as geotechnical foundation recommendation/design, geotechnical foundation calculations (bearing capacity, settlement calculations), earthwork specifications, tendering and bidding etc. The ideal Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer candidate will have:

- Degree in a relevant environmental science/engineering discipline and have obtained an MSc (Beneficial).
- Proven track record in delivering geo-environmental and/or Geotechnical ground investigation consultancy projects.
- Experience of planning, managing, supervising and interpreting ground investigation data, in relation to contamination and geotechnical aspects.
- Proven track record in delivering technical projects including all reporting surrounding interpretation, remedial methods and risk assessments.
- Geotechnical experience is preferred but not essential.
- UK driving licence
