Civil Engineer

Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join a renowned multi-disciplinary consultancy on a Permanent basis, in London. Our client have a broad portfolio of projects throughout the UK and overseas. They cover sectors including commercial, leisure, healthcare, scientific and higher education schemes. Due to continued success, they are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join their innovative team.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide expert knowledge on highway engineering designs and collaborate with relevant individuals in the creation of designs
• Ensure sustainability/net zero carbon is embedded in all works
• Mentor junior members of the team
• Meeting with relevant clients and stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A Master's Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Approaching Chartership status and a Member of an appropriate professional institution
• Experience working on multidisciplinary projects, especially construction
• Experience preparing relevant technical drawings, as well as reports and specifications
• Technical knowledge of horizontal/vertical road alignment and junction layout design, pavement design, highway surface water drainage design and public realm design.
• Experience mentoring junior staff
• Excellent communication and written skills.
