Senior Civil Engineer - Nottingham | £48,000-£55,000
Working for a civil engineering consultancy but want more variety in you project portfolio? Well, here's an opportunity to diversify your work by getting involved with education developments, high-rise projects, hospital facilities, historically significant buildings, and centres for innovation?
We're recruiting for a Senior Civil Engineer to join a long-standing engineering consultancy with a national presence and reputation for investing in people.
The company is employee-owned, which means you get so share on company's financial success in the form of a tax-free yearly bonus.
You will have the flexibility to work from home and the office. When you're in the office, you'll enjoy a relaxed and social working environment and unlimited support for continued professional development. For over 50 years this company has been building a reputation as a go-to consultant for civil & structural engineering services - opening a wealth of opportunities for their Engineers to impact flagship projects throughout the country.
A diverse project portfolio is available, so if you're interested in a varied workload throughout core industries in the private and public sectors, this is the place for you.
What's needed for this Senior Civil Engineer position?
We are looking for a Senior Civil Engineer that has experience in development infrastructure design. This can include a background in drainage and highways design, external works, and flood risk assessments. In return, you will be allowed to take ownership of projects, liaise directly with clients, and build your reputation within the engineering industry.
Some good software skills will be needed. Ideally, you will have worked with AutoCAD, Microdrainage, Civils 3D, and Revit. Knowledge of BIM Level 2 projects will also be a bonus but not essential!
The salary offered will depend on experience, but £48,000-£55,000 is a good guide. Other perks include a cycle to work scheme, mental health and wellness support, a company-provided holiday destination, enhanced maternity pay, and your birthday off. Plus, flexible working and a 7% pension!
If this all sounds of interest, get in touch with Tom Stewart at Konker on (phone number removed) to receive more information on the company and responsibilities.
