Graduate Geo-Environmental/Technical Engineer

My client is a specialist engineering consultancy with a national and international reputation for delivering solutions to challenging civil and environmental engineering problems. They provide ethical and sustainable engineering solutions for this generation and acknowledge our impact on society.

My client is currently seeking a Geo-Environmental/Geotechnical Engineer with 2+ years' experience to join their expanding team in the south-east.

The role will involve a combination of office-based and site-based work, supporting more senior members of the team.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold a degree in geotechnical or civil engineering, geology or other earth science
• Have a positive attitude
• Good work ethic
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities will include:

• The supervision of ground investigation works
• The assessment and interpretation of data
• Report writing
• Visiting sites
• Site assessments

In-house and external training will be provided as required, including geotechnical and environmental modelling software and CAD. Attaining relevant industry accreditations, such as Chartered Geologist status, will be actively encouraged and supported through our mentoring scheme.
