An excellent opportunity has arisen for a civil engineering professional to take on a developmental role that will work closely with the Operations Director and Project Manager bridging the interface between Site Management and Office operations. Perhaps you have graduated in the last few years and have 2- 3 years site based experience with a desire to move into a Project Management role or maybe you are an experienced Site / Section engineer looking to move your career in a different direction whilst utilising your skills, knowledge and experience amassed thus far.

The role will involve but not be limited to:

Planning material and plant schedules
Dealing with Orders from site to ensure tight control of costs
Managing applications for payment for works undertaken
Managing H&S and CDM files
Overseeing progress of works against construction programmes
Assessing Resourcing needs along with site management to ensure adequate levels against project needs
Managing sub contractors pre start to ensure all relevant documentations are in place
Generally managing and coordinating several concurrent projects to ensure smooth delivery.
To be considered you will need:

Relevant Civil engineering or Construction Management qualification (HNC/D Degree / SVQ)
Min 2-3 years project delivery experience within the civil engineering environment (site management / site engineering)
Sound IT skills, able to use Microsoft packages
Strong organisation skill set, able to spin plates and be agile to make dynamic decisions
Excellent communication, able to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders both in person and over email
