A fantastic opportunity has come available for a Project Manager in civil engineering to work with our Client in Sheffield, on a permanent basis. Salary starting from £48,000 up to £54,000 (depending on experience)

As a Project Manager in this civil engineering role; you will be responsible for the management of Network Rail and multiple rail related infrastructure Projects to requisite performance criteria, ensuring KPI's are met in line with client expectations.

To be successful in the role Project Manager- Civil engineering you will:

• Provide technical support, guidance and practical advice to site managers and Assistant Site managers on the LNE Framework to ensure competent execution of work bank from both a permanent work and temporary works perspective

• Liaise with client personnel at client deliverability meetings as appropriate. Maintain and develop client relationships on the basis of mutual trust and high standards of contract performance

• Management of Network Rail and rail related infrastructure contracts to requisite performance criteria, ensuring stringent KPIs are met in line with client expectations (estimate submissions, delivery timescales, risk scores, completion packs etc)

The ideal candidate for this Project Manager- Building role will have the following skills/ qualifications:

• Management of multiple reactive work sites - Essential

• Working within a railway environment - Desirable

• Civils background - Essential

• Earthworks experience - Desirable

• Commercial and Programming experience - Essential

• Sound technical knowledge of a multitude of civils activities required

QUALIFICATIONS required for this Project Manager- Civil Engineering role

• Suitably qualified by experience • NEBOSH - desirable • Railway Safety Training (PTS) - Essential • COSS - Desirable • Continued professional development courses as appropriate (SMSTS, MAPM)
