Civil Site Engineer Foreman/manager - Enfield North London
Excellent opportunity to join an expanding sub-contractor with a large portfolio of clients across the London region. Focused on Projects from £50k - £5 million in value.
Salary: - £55,000 - £60,000 basic + Car
Location: - Enfield - London & Home Counties
Role Description:
Working for a sub-contractor supporting a number of major clients across Construction and Civil Engineering schemes in London. This role is managing the day-to-day workforce and associated RAMS / Work package plans set out with the main contractors.
The projects are all minor works as its part of the larger scheme so typically £100k - £1m in value. A mix of Civil Engineering - drainage, roads, utilities and minor earthworks as part of a larger scheme. There is a Site Agent managing multiple schemes and supporting you on site so this role is more the day-to-day delivery and report writing.
You need experience in managing a site, understanding and completing the associated paperwork be it RAMS, Risk assessments, permits etc… The Site Agent will be setting up the site and getting the systems in place (Diary management, H&S, Material orders, PPE, Plant, Organising the labour requirements) then leaving it to be run by the Site Manager for the site.

Required Experience
- Civil engineering-based projects - minor works but controlling the site on behalf of a client or main contractor
- SMSTS - Black card ideally
- Ideally a formal qualification be it HNC / HND or Degree in Civil Engineering.
