Structural Engineer sought by a company who work within the timber engineering/timber frame sector. This role will involve:
Providing structural engineering knowledge and expertise to colleagues in technical and customer support teams
Giving technical support and guidance to customers
About you:
Degree educated in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering (if you have qualified with a timber engineering degree this would be of particular interest)
Good Design and Analysis skills
Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills gained from your industry experience
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
Possessing a methodical, analytical and innovative approach to problem solving
You will have some scope for working from home, but there will be an initial requirement to work from the company's HQ in the West Midlands, so you can gain the necessary product and systems experience. You will also be spending time with the Design team, as well as other customer facing departments.
Your salary will depend on your experience and you can also enjoy a bonus (paid at the end of the calendar year), 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays, contribution towards gym membership, some flexibility around start/finish times (working a 40-hour week).
