STRUCTURAL ENGINEER

Wigan

Salary: £30-£35k

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our clients' professional team in Wigan. A mix of remote and office work available for the right candidate.

You will:

Carry out site visits
Produce designs and specifications on a variety of projects using a range of software including AUTOCAD and Tekla TEDDS
Write reports
Produce structural design calculation packages
Ensure the technical quality of design, through implementation of best practice and continuous improvement processes
Work as part of the team, liaising directly with clients, architects and buildersYou will need:

At least 3 years' experience
An Engineering degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
To be able to produce structural engineering calculations and deliver design solutions on projects to a high standard
To have relevant experience in the design and specification of building structures to relevant codes of practice
To have a sound knowledge of BIM and the ability to implement the use of 3D structural design on projects
To be able to consider safety in design and develop design solutions to eliminate health and safety risksWhat To Do Next
