Blueprint Recruitment have an excellent opportunity for a Civil Engineer to join a renowned multi-disciplinary consultancy on a Permanent basis, in London. Our client have a broad portfolio of projects throughout the UK and overseas. They cover sectors including commercial, leisure, healthcare, scientific and higher education schemes. Due to continued success, they are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join their innovative team.
Key responsibilities:
Provide expert knowledge on highway engineering designs and collaborate with relevant individuals in the creation of designs
Ensure sustainability/net zero carbon is embedded in all works
Mentor junior members of the team
Meeting with relevant clients and stakeholdersThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A Master's Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or related discipline
Approaching Chartership status and a Member of an appropriate professional institution
Experience working on multidisciplinary projects, especially construction
Experience preparing relevant technical drawings, as well as reports and specifications
Technical knowledge of horizontal/vertical road alignment and junction layout design, pavement design, highway surface water drainage design and public realm design.
Experience mentoring junior staff
Excellent communication and written skills.Benefits:
