Water Treatment Engineer
12 months contract
We are looking for an Water Treatment Engineer to join our industry leading Water team. If you are a passionate professional that enjoys interacting with customers and likes to work in an autonomous environment, we invite you to apply.
You will be joining a talented team that supports water treatment applications for a variety of industries. In this position, you will manage and develop long standing client relationships, with an intense focus on exceeding client expectations and driving service delivery. You will have a hands-on approach to service and deliver value through implementing solutions to solve customer problems.
This role would ideally suit a candidate with previous technical experience working with an experienced team who will support and help develop your skills and knowledge to be successful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensures compliance with our Water Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
• Build strong relationships with the customer contacts.
• Ability to work both autonomously managing yourself and your team in a large corporate account ensuring the high value focused service is completed.
• Ensure the specific service plans are executed correctly as per the requirements.
• Communication of the service reports directly to the customer and / or Account Manager ensuring actions noted along with consequences.
• Monitor and order chemical stocks as required to ensure no stock outages.
• Liase with customers, Account Managers and Corporate Account Managers to deliver a high-quality customer focused service key to customer retention.
• Ability to work on dosage and control equipment and effect minor repairs to ensure operational ability is maintained.
• Ensuring compliance to all contractual KPI's are achieved.
Minimum Qualifications:
Technical service or supervision and management experience
Must have a valid Driver's License
Experience working with Microsoft Office
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely on technical matters and a solid commitment to first class customer service and support.
Strong planning skills and self-discipline are key requirements for this position.
FLT Licence license or willing to complete the training.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Water treatment and specialty chemical industry experience in automotive business.
• Working knowledge of wastewater treatment systems essential.
• Ability to sell value-added products to customers.
• Carry aptitude and confidence to deal with large national and multi-national customers
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Experience working with MS Excel Spreadsheets.
We work with customers across the world in the light industry (institutional, food & beverage, transportation and manufacturing), heavy industry (chemical, power and primary metals industries), paper and mining operations to reduce, reuse, and recycle their water while protecting their systems and equipment.
