Civil Engineer

An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Engineer to join a well-established multi - disciplinary consultancy in Derby.
Main duties and responsibilities

Project management
Undertaking detailed design work
Writing of engineering reports
Undertaking site feasibility work
Other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the position.
Candidate specification

Engineer level, with experience in Client ant local authority liaison experience.
A willingness to train junior members of staff.
Varied project experience is desirably but ideally with a focus on commercial and industrial.
Familiarity of common highway and drainage sectional agreements (S38, S278, S104, S185)
Experienced with WinDes and ideally Civil 3D.
Capability of complex S278 design is desirable.
Ability to produce drainage strategies and zone 1 FRAs is desirable.
Must be proficient in AutoCAD.
Good organisation, communication and presentation skills are essential.
