The Public Works department is currently seeking highly motivated, problem solving, and well- organized candidates to be our next Traffic Engineering Manager (Public Works Division Manager – Engineering). The Traffic Engineering Manager manages the traffic engineering division and associated programs. The Manager is responsible for ensuring that program goals, objectives, policies, and processes are being formulated, implemented, and carried out with focus on efficiency and innovation. The Manager performs advanced and complex technical engineering work, provides technical direction and solutions related to the program services and activities, and ensures staff and program compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures. Staying abreast of new trends, innovations and relevant emerging products is a key role of the Traffic Engineering Manager. The Traffic Engineering Manager reports directly to the Deputy Director of Public Works-Engineering and supervises three city staff and multiple consultant contracts.
