Student Civil Engineer (2022 Start)

Civil Engineering Year-long Placement

We are inviting applications from Undergraduate Engineers looking to join us for their industrial placement year 2022/2023

Commencing Summer 2022, you will be assigned to work with one or more of our Engineering Divisions delivering a variety of challenging infrastructure projects varying in value from £300k - £10m such as airports, roads, rail, bridges, sea defence schemes, flood alleviation schemes etc.

Base location: South-West England

You will be working in the capacity of an Assistant Engineer and will be responsible for setting out, site record keeping & paperwork, assisting with programming, correspondence and QA procedures, risk assessment and adherence to Health & Safety legislation as well as other various site duties.

* You must be studying a full-time degree which is relevant to Civil Engineering and be eligible to work in the UK.

* Proactive and personable approach

* Ability to work in high pressure environments and within a team

* Practical, problem solving and engineering abilities

* Strong interpersonal and team working skills

* Full driving licence
