Principal Structural Engineer - Bridges (Manchester)

My client, a major multidisciplinary Consultancy specialising in Civil, Structural and Water Engineering are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to join their thriving Bridge Engineering team in Manchester! They house a broad range of specialists offering a great diversity of skills throughout both the public and private sectors. They have an excellent reputation and an exciting opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for inspections of bridges and highway structures to all levels and standards. You will contribute to feasibility studies, designs, and reports while assisting with the programme management and monitoring of KPI's. You will ensure that designs are carried out in accordance with current design standards, considering Construction Design Management legislation. You will contribute to other fee earning consultancy work, primarily in other Civil's orientated projects.

Requirements:
  • Experience in the design of all aspects of highways and civil engineering design and construction.
  • Chartered status.
  • Major (structure related) infrastructure design experience.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Brilliant knowledge of DMRB, British Standards and Eurocodes.
